Tick Tock, Tick Tock.

Yesterday i attendant a 2nd Birthday party. The Host's collect beautiful clocks and i always enjoy a sneaky look at the ever-growing collection. It got me thinking that i would really like a giant clock for our Kitchen. Something vintage inspired yet practical.

Thank Goodness it is Friday ! I wish that i could spend the day in a beautiful chair reading books , instead i am off to work !

Love BOOTS !

I love boots, there is no other way to put it.... I love the American style cowboy boots. I love the simple ones, the ones with the crazy patterns, the croc skins ones, ohhh how i lust after them.

I think my obsession started when i was 9 , my parents took us on a across country road trip, we zig-zagged the US for 8 weeks. We spent a lot of that trip in little country towns , and the beautiful girls wearing boots intrigued me.

Fast forward 2 or so decades and i have a small collection , that i am looking to expand.

I just love it ! I think that i might have to buy one for my husband for our upcoming wedding anniversary. I love how simple it is , so much context yet so bare.
I think it would be right at home on my dresser beside my perfume collection.

A library for the boy - Part 2

I have finally got around to putting up some pics of M's new bookshelf.
I had spent ages organising the books in size order, but M got to excited and messed them all up. I can't get angry at the boy for his love of reading (or rearranging bookshelves)

Black & White

My little sister has just come home from a wonderful o/s experience. She has been living the high life in Edinburgh CBD. Slightly more cosmopolitan that her current digs in mum and dad's spare room down on the farm !
To keep her occupied , she has decided to give the room a little make over. It will allow her a peaceful place to crash but later on will give mum and dad a beautiful yet stylish guest room. We have had a huge discussion and decided to go for a Black and White palate.

I have been looking for some inspiration for her .....




And my fave that would suit the room perfectly....
