My husband is in his mid-to-late Twenties, However, he is an old fashioned country boy. I have always said that he was born 'a little old man' as he is wise beyond his years. I am very honored to have meet and married someone who has such a stable grip on reality because i don't ! His advice and wisdom is what gets me through each day. Mind you, sometimes i want to strangle him for being so sensible)
Earlier this year, we had a mini medical emeregency. It was terrible and hard. But we coped
It was the hardest thing , we have ever dealt with as a couple, it pushed us both to the limit and back again. I really don't think i coped all that well.
My very wise husband, gave me a little pink post it note with this Pearl of Wisdom written on it-
“To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping”.
It melted my heart and made me realise that i do need to focus on the future, that as a family we could get through horrible experience and come out stronger and braver for it.
I have since discovered that it is an old Chinese proverb .
That little note is pinned on my notice board, and everytime i start to struggle with my day , i look at that scrawny handwriting on a little pink post it note, and remember i can go on, just put one foot in front of the other.

I'm sorry for your loss. My husband and I have suffered multiple miscarriages and the heartache can sometimes be overwhelming.
I'm so glad your husband's advice was a comfort to you. It's amazing, isn't it, how a small gesture, or a few words can change our perspective, or give us the strength to keep on stepping.
He sounds like an wonderful man.
I hope at some point you are able to add to your family.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how that must have felt. You're very lucky to have such a wise and obviously loving husband. My best wishes to you both. xxooxx

I am very sorry for your loss.
Your husband sounds like a special man who adores you. Great pearl, we could all use reminding of that sometimes. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful advice Ali ♥
